Shahid Kapoor has once again brought attention to himself as he shared an Instagram post teasing his transformation into a ‘nasty 90s gangster’ for his upcoming project titled ‘Arjun Ustara’.
The actor captioned the post in his own way, writing, “Prep time… Naya saal, naya maal… Next character, next film what can I do that I haven’t before…”
His post has once again reignited debates on social media, with some being happy for the actor, while others are feeling cautious regarding his reunion with director Vishal Bharadwaj.
Vishal Bharadwaj, despite being critically acclaimed, is a total box-office flop.
He doesn’t have a single hit to boast of in his entire career, with even great films like Omkara, Kaminey, and Haider turning out to be either semi-hits or flops.
Although Shahid has a great body with phenomenal looks on top of being a successful actor, his tendency to choose projects that are dead on arrival is proving to be detrimental to him.
With massive preparations on his part, it will be interesting to see whether the actor-director duo will be able to break the deadlock, or will they gain one more addition to their flop list.
