Shraddha Kapoor and Maddock Films’ Dinesh Vijan launched the trailer of Thamma, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna. The film marks the next step in Maddock’s Horror Comedy Universe.
During the event, Shraddha and Dinesh announced Chhoti Stree, an animated film for kids and families that will also tie into the Stree storyline. Shraddha said the project aims to expand the universe for all audiences.
Dinesh revealed that Chhoti Stree will feature a post-credit glimpse of Stree 3. The story will begin as animation but shift into live-action, offering answers about the original Stree. It will release six months before Stree 3 to set the stage.
The duo also unveiled a new logo for Maddock’s Horror Comedy Universe. Shraddha even joked that Dinesh should now be called “Dinesh Vision” for his ambitious plans after the success of Stree.
With Chhoti Stree, Stree 3, and Thamma, the horror-comedy universe is set to grow bigger. Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, Thamma releases on 21 October 2025 with Ayushmann, Rashmika, Paresh Rawal, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in key roles.
