The official poster for the film was released showcasing bursts with colorful doodles — from a football and a DNA strand to a basketball hoop — capturing a playful, youthful vibe that hints at the energetic world the film delves into.

What instantly caught fans’ attention was the fact that the poster strongly resembles Taare Zameen Par’s poster and has the same layout and vibe.
Many argued that Aamir Khan is using the success of his previous film and looking to capitalize on Taare Zameen Par for marketing Sitaare Zameen Par.

Being a remake of the Spanish film Champions, several users stated how the film brings nothing fresh to the table and labeled it as a cheap copy of the Spanish film.
Though Aamir stated that Sitaare Zameen Par is way ahead of the original, many still stand by the fact that the film will be a poor remake and all the hype is being created due to Taare Zameen Par’s nostalgic factor.
As Aamir Khan aims to rely on the past to make his future project shine, this strategy might not work as Bollywood audience hasn’t shown much love to recent remakes like Baby John and Deva.
However, the film captures a dramatic and emotional vibe which is nowhere to be seen in today’s massy films.
If the film can connect with the audience in that aspect, it is a huge win for Aamir and the team and it would be a huge effort to save the drama genre in Bollywood which seems to be overshadowed by action entertainers.
All in all, Sitaare Zameen Par is not a sure-shot guaranteed blockbuster but if everything fits right and the film can deliver a social message while not being overdramatic or boring, it might become a huge hit for Aamir.
