While action-packed spectacles like Chhaava drove footfalls with larger-than-life appeal, Sitaare Zameen Par stood out as the only emotional drama on the list. The film has also touched audiences with its heartwarming narrative, emotional story, and strong performances.

Sitaare Zameen Par further marks Aamir Khan’s return after a long break and proves that content-driven cinema still has the power to pull in crowds amid flashy releases.

Meanwhile, Bollywood awaits the release of another anticipated film – War 2. However, its hype isn’t much given that the teaser did not excite the audience as expected. However, its songs and official trailer are yet to be released.

So, there’s a chance that the hype will rise again when the actual promotions begin! If things click, War 2 is going to collect around Rs 60-65 crore on the first day of its release.

This means the film will collect an anticipated amount of around Rs 250 crore in the first weekend in Hindi in India. The collection may easily break Chhaava’s first weekend collection which accounted for Rs. 107 crore.

Will War 2 work as per the speculations? Let’s wait and watch.
