Aamir Khan’s upcoming film Sitaare Zameen Par*is struggling to catch the public eye a surprising turn for a star once known for creating cinematic magic.
Despite the trailer and song already being out, there’s little to no buzz among audiences. No social media hype, no promotional events, and shockingly low fan engagement have left many wondering, is this the beginning of another flop?

What’s more confusing is the film’s release path. It was first planned for OTT, then YouTube, and finally decided for a theatrical release. This lack of clarity reflects possible doubts from the makers themselves.
Even if Sitaare Zameen Par opens at 8 crores, industry insiders predict it may not even touch 120 crores with exceptional word of mouth also which is a dismal figure for an Aamir Khan film.

With marketing strategies not working and a near-zero opening buzz, the film risks becoming a box-office disaster.
This isn’t the first time Aamir has faced setbacks. His previous film Laal Singh Chaddha, despite massive pre-release hype, failed to deliver. In contrast, even the much-hyped Dunki* featuring the golden combo of Shah Rukh Khan and Rajkumar Hirani, couldn’t meet expectations.
