The ongoing month is going to be important for the box office. While a majority of the Hindi films have failed to recover their budgets alongside disappointing the audience, a few movies are expected to have a long run for certain reasons.
The two big films of this month are Dhamaal 4 and Spider-Man: Brand New Day. While Dhamaal 4 is only two days away from release, Spider-Man: Brand New Day is releasing on July 30, 2026. Notably, expectations are sky-high, considering their association with a popular franchise.
Talking about Spider-Man, the advance booking has already opened in a few markets some time ago, and the response has been outstanding, with a majority of seats sold out. Despite a limited opening for advance, the numbers are reported to be Rs. 5 crore, and the figures are supposed to witness a big rise once the bookings are opened all around India.
Early estimates are saying that Spider-Man is supposed to start with nett collections of Rs. 40 crores. A few others have claimed that it might touch the mark of Rs. 50 crores, with the final number being the highest for any Hollywood film over the last few years.
On the other hand, Dhamaal 4 is arriving on a normal Friday, which means that the film will entirely depend on word-of-mouth. The advance booking has been decent, with a few sources claiming that the response is better compared to Welcome to the Jungle.
The current prediction stands at Rs. 13-17 crore. With a budget of Rs. 200 crores, the film has to witness a bigger jump by the other two days of the weekend and also maintain a double-digit figure throughout the normal days of the week to recover the money that has been invested.
Trade experts said that Dhamaal 4 has a better chance of survival as there won’t be any competition from big films featuring big stars until the end of the month. However, the arrival of Evil Dead Burn is expected to leave some impact on the collections.
While theatres are prepared to welcome the audiences, let’s see if everything will happen as expected or it will be something different.
