Bollywood movie ‘Sultan’ proved how big a star is Salman Khan at the box-office. His film recorded the highest openings of this year and turned out to be the highest grosser of the year. Now, the movie has set a new record with regard to its television premiere.

This Sunday, the movie was telecast on of the channels of Sony Pictures Networks India and it is said to have collected Rs. 50 crores from the advertisements. This is the highest revenue for the channel till date, the biggest blockbuster from the biggest movie.
The channel had increased the rate of advertisements since ‘Baahubali’ by 20 percent which added to the increased revenue from the premiere. So, even the premiere show of ‘Sultan‘ Salman Khan turned out to be a blockbuster in terms of ad collections. Stupendous success!
