Ajay Devgn is all set to return as IRS Officer Amay Patnaik once again to track down another high-stakes white-collar crime.
The teaser of Raid 2 was unveiled last week to an overwhelmingly positive response, which gave the audience a thrilling glimpse into what the sequel has in store.
Adding to the excitement before its theatrical release on May 1, the makers are now incorporating a special promotional song into the film.
Tamannaah Bhatia has been roped in for an item song in Raid 2.
Fresh off the success of her chart-topping song “Aaj Ki Raat” from Stree 2, the actress will feature alongside Yo Yo Honey Singh in this high-energy dance number.
However, this promotional song will not be a part of the film’s narrative and is said to play during the post-credits sequence.
Choreographed by Vijay Ganguly, who also choreographed Tamannaah’s “Aaj Ki Raat”, the music video is scheduled to be shot at a Mumbai studio later this week.
Tamannaah has delivered back-to-back hit item songs, including “Aaj Ki Raat” from Stree 2 and “Kaavaalaa” from Jailer.
Both songs became instantly popular, and her dance performances won over audiences. But will her third time be a charm as well?
While the fate of Raid 2 remains uncertain, fans are hopeful that Tamannaah will deliver another sizzling and memorable dance number that will be on everyone’s lips once again.
