Vivek Agnihotri has announced the release date for his upcoming movie ‘The Delhi Files’ and it will be releasing on the 15th of August next year.
The movie will be based on a true story of a girl being brutally raped in Delhi. Agnihotri has shared a news headline of a tribal girl being raped and murdered in West Bengal very recently and said that his movies will be dealing with news of such kind that has been ignored by Mainstream media for too long.

This anticipates a very sensational release for The Delhi Files. And if it is marketed properly, it might go on to be as successful as The Kashmir Files. The subject of the film is indeed very sensational and there is a good possibility of huge hype during the release.
War 2 will be attempting to cross the collections of Pushpa 2 and it has fair chances all over India with Hrithik and NTR Jr. But if The Delhi Files manages to work the sensationalism of the news headlines in its favour, it will oose a strong threat to the movie.
