The much anticipated track “Chunnari Chunnari” from Varun Dhawan’s latest film Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai is out now. The makers were planning to release the track earlier but a legal issue regarding the audio-video rights delayed the release.
The song is picturised on Varun Dhawan, Mrunal Thakur, and Pooja Hegde, and it has been shot in the beautiful locales of Scotland. As usual, the visuals are gorgeous and both ladies look attractive. Varun Dhawan and his dance moves go well with the song. A few extra lines are added to the song that are serviceable, but there was no real need for them.
Social media reactions to the song are mixed. Fans of Salman Khan are upset and complaining that the new version is nowhere close to the original. Others feel the choreography could have been a lot better because it feels low on energy. However, many users liked the visual quality and the retained lyrics.
Since there is very little time left before the release of the film, this song might not boost the buzz as much as it would have done ten days earlier. Even so, if the masses like the song in the theaters, it could still help the film get positive word of mouth.
