Rajkumar Hirani’s son Vir is all set to make his big-screen debut. As per Rahul Raut of Peeping Moon, the search for the female lead is underway. The project was confirmed on October 6, 2025.
Hansal Mehta’s True Story Films is producing the film, while acclaimed Malayalam director Lijo Jose Pellissery, known for Jallikattu, will direct it. A.R. Rahman will compose the music. The film, said to be a love story, will start shooting next year.
Before his film debut, Vir will appear in Pritam Pedro, a web series created by Rajkumar Hirani. The JioHotstar series also stars Arshad Warsi and Vikrant Massey, with Vir playing the lead role.
In 2024, Vir received praise for his performance in the play Letters of Suresh, where his long monologue stood out. His stage experience has already earned him recognition for strong screen presence.
