Dharma Productions’ big release is out in theatres today and fans haven’t stopped giving their reviews online. Bad Newz had created much buzz over the past weeks and had been in the news after the CBFC censored some intimate scenes from the film. Anand Tiwari has brought us a comedic riot of confusing parenthood and drama, in which a single woman gives birth to twins from two different men. The film revolves around heteropaternal superfecundation, and has Vicky Kaushal, Tripti Dimri and Amy Virk in lead roles.
After gaining much attention for the song Tauba Tauba and delivering sizzling chemistry between Vicky and Tripti in the song Janam, the attention is now being given to its plot and performances. With only its day one in the theatres, fans have flocked in to be entertained and they seem to have mixed reviews. Fans are enjoying it but some find it a bit stretched and cliched. Many emphasised the over sexualization of Tripti while others found striking comparison with a Brazilian series Desperate Lies, well that is not new with Bollywood films! Much cannot be said till it runs for a few weeks and critics too present their views but the early reception has been fairly decent.
