Rajinikanth‘s most anticipated sequel Jailer 2 directed by Nelson Dilipkumar is gearing up for a worldwide theatrical release on October 15th. With only a few days left until the release, the makers of Jailer 2 have started releasing promotional material from the film.

In this scenario, now there is strong speculation that Jailer 2’s censor screening took place recently. Reportedly, the censor officials highly appreciated the movie and said that it is a sure-shot theatrical hit.
However, after watching the film, the censor officials were ready to give a U/A certification for the film, but with one condition. Reports suggest that there is a particular sequence in the film where a person’s head is chopped off and placed on a dining table. The censor officials want the sequence removed to issue a U/A certificate; if the makers want to retain the scene, the movie will be given an ‘A’ certificate.
Furthermore, there is also information that Nelson Dilipkumar is not willing to remove that scene, feeling the sequence is crucial. While Rajinikanth wants to get a U/A certificate, discussions are currently ongoing within the team and a final decision has not yet been made.
In response to this speculation, many trade experts are suggesting that the Jailer 2 team should get the U/A certificate at any cost. They claim that Rajinikanth’s films usually attract a lot of family audiences and if Jailer 2 gets an A certificate, it will heavily affect the box office collections of the film.
Therefore, they claim that Nelson Dilipkumar should make some modifications if needed and release the film with a U/A certification.
Ultimately, with these speculations, it is evident that Jailer 2 is a violent film with a lot of bloodshed sequences in it.
