Umpteen times, we have watched Sridevi cry on-screen and when we see her crying for real, it’s really hard to interpret her tears. During one of the promotional events of her recent release ‘Mom’, she broke in tears for her co-stars.

Pakistani actors, Sajal Ali played Sridevi’s daughter in the movie and Adnan Siddiqui played a crucial role. Both of them couldn’t be part of the film’s promotions fearing controversy about Pakistani actors. Remembering Sajal Ali, Sridevi was seen crying and saying that she missed her a lot. She said, “Sajal, Mera bachcha (My girl).”
Sridevi’s tears looked real. But, as she is promoting her film, the timing of the video byte’s release says otherwise. A senior actress crying for her co-star looks a bit weird. But, one can’t say, it could be true emotion.
