Bhool Bhulaiyaa is a franchise that has never been underwhelming and has always produced blockbusters. Whether it was the OG Akshay Kumar version of the film or recent Kartik Aaryan’s horror comedy ride, the film has always been a success.
After giving a great start to the franchise, fans hated the concept of bringing Kartik in the second installment. Many trolled the film prior to its release stating that Kartik would never be able to match Akshay’s stardom.

However, the Shehzada of Bollywood turned the tables by giving a blockbuster with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. While many of the viewers were convinced that Kartik had that X Factor, some of them were still in doubt about giving him Akshay’s position.
In comes Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 smashing all the records for the actor becoming his all-time highest grosser. Now that Kartik has developed an image and can sell tickets on his own, there are reports that the fourth installment of the film might have Akshay and Kartik side by side.

Director Aneez Bazmee also positively reacted to these rumors stating that he would love to work with Akshay and the script plays an important role in the collaboration of two splendid actors.
“If the story fits, I’d be really happy to have him back,” said Bazmee. The main question arises will Akshay work with someone who was called a duplicate of him?

Akshay previously rejected BB2 for confidential reasons but will he come back to the franchise after seeing the success of the last two parts involving Kartik Aaryan?
In the end, money might take over Akshay’s ego letting him act with Kartik. Seeing the collections of the last two parts, anyone would love to act alongside Kartik and deliver another hit, and the same is the case with Akshay Kumar.
While the collaboration will surely break the internet, it remains to be seen when the duo will unite and have another blockbuster for the fans.
