In Challengers, she portrays Tashi, a former tennis star turned coach caught between her husband Art, played by Mike Faist, and her ex boyfriend Patrick, played by Josh O’Connor. The dynamic drives much of the film’s intensity.
The narrative includes steamy make out scenes and charged private moments that reflect obsession and competition. These sequences use camera movement, framing, and restraint to suggest intimacy rather than display it directly.
