Lights, camera, Alia! The Hope Gala hosted by Alia Bhatt in London wasn’t just another star-studded affair—it was a dazzling display of fashion, philanthropy, and pure Bollywood magic.

Alia made her presence felt in an ivory saree straight out of a fairytale—courtesy of the legendary design duo, Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. This wasn’t just any saree, mind you; it was a timeless masterpiece crafted in 1994, dripping with resham work and floral embroidery that would make even the most seasoned fashionistas weak in the knees.

As Alia gracefully draped herself in yards of sheer elegance, she transformed into a vision of ethereal beauty. Social media erupted in a frenzy of admiration, with fans and fashion enthusiasts alike showering her with compliments and emoji-laden praise.

But amidst the glitz and glamour, let’s not forget the heartwarming reason behind the night was to raise funds for Salaam Bombay. With her signature blend of style and substance, Alia used her star power to shine a spotlight on the plight of underprivileged adolescents in India.

The Hope Gala was hosted to raise funds for these individuals. The event was attended by musician Harshdeep Kaur, comedian Rohan Joshi and director Gurinder Chadha, among others. It witnessed Alia backing the Salaam Bombay charity, which focuses on helping Mumbai’s most vulnerable children through in-school programs for leadership and advocacy, as well as after-school academies for skill-building.
