Warner Bros is cooking something extraordinary filled with great names. There have been reports from Hollywood that WB has hired Paul Thomas Anderson to direct an untitled film.
Anderson’s name alone is enough to excite cinephiles but it gets better when the lead cast is revealed. It will star Leonardo DiCaprio and Sean Penn, both with an Oscar. It will also star Regina Hall.
This will be the first time that DiCaprio and Anderson will work together. DiCaprio was set to star in Anderson’s “Boogie Nights” but had to drop out for Titanic.
Anderson is one of Hollywood’s most popular and meticulous directors whose films have been nominated for several Oscars and BAFTA. His last feature movie, Licorice Pizza, was a critical success but failed at the box office.
DiCaprio was last seen in Scorcese’s latest “Killers of the Flower Moon” and remains one of the most bankable actors in the world.
This tie-up of two of the best in their respective fields could be something for the ages!
