Taylor Swift has joined the list of world’s richest and has been inducted by the famous Forbes magazine for the first time. Her net worth reached $1.1 billion which put her in the new Forbes World’s Billionaire list.
2023 was Taylor’s year as she won almost everything that was there for her to win in the music industry. But her greatest achievement was undoubtedly the grand success of the Eras Tour which set unrealistic standards for any artist performing live in front of their fans.
The Eras tour along with the release of her re-recorded album 1989 helped her reach the billionaire status. Although some people have criticized her for becoming a billionaire as an artist, their arguments failed to explain how it is any worse than any corporate giant getting rich.
