The trailer of Chakkora – Lunar Love Bird was unveiled at an event in Hyderabad by hero Aakash Jagannadh, giving audiences a glimpse into what the makers call a “Mass Poetry Musical Love Story.”
Produced by Dr. Chintada Hemarao under High Joy Commercials in association with VIP – Vintage Iconic Pictures, the film marks the directorial debut of Manga Srinivas and is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on October 9 through Sri Lakshmi Pictures.
The trailer introduces Ravana Brahma, played by Sravan, as a carefree yo
ungster whose life changes after Julie, played by Malaika T. Vasupal, enters it. He falls in love with her, follows her, proposes to her and even fights for her, recalling the carefree heroes from vintage Puri Jagannadh films.
Just when their romance begins to develop, Julie suddenly disappears without a trace. Ravana Brahma begins searching for her and comes across details connected to her past. Whether he finds Julie, what happened to her and what becomes of their relationship form the emotional core of the story.
Chakkora features stylised visuals, while Prince Henry’s background score accompanies the trailer. The film is presented as a romantic family entertainer exploring love, friendship and family bonds, with Manga Srinivas making his directorial debut.
The film also stars Anushka Luhar, Yamini, L.B. Sriram, Suman, Brahmaji, Indraja, Mani Chandana, Nellore Sudarshan, Prabhavathi, Madhavi Prasad, Janardhan, Akella Gopal Krishna, Vangapandu, Vamsi, Sumanth, Bhanu, Surya Makireddy and others in key roles.
