Bipasha Basu, known to the Telugu audience for her role in Takkari Donga opposite Superstar Mahesh Babu, recently revealed her daughter Devi’s health struggles.
Bipasha shared her emotional journey during an Instagram Live chat with actress Neha Dhupia, where she broke down in tears. She revealed that Devi was born with two holes in her heart, and at three months old, she had to undergo open heart surgery.
The doctors initially hoped the holes would heal on their own but eventually recommended surgery as they were too big to close on their own.
Bipasha and her husband felt deeply saddened and conflicted about putting their young child through such a complicated and painful procedure.
Despite their hopes, the holes didn’t close naturally, and they made the difficult decision to proceed with the surgery.
