Prabhas’s mythological epic, Adipurush is up for release on the 16th of June. The trailer for the film was dropped a short while ago as the makers started the promotional campaign.
The trailer starts with the establishment of the Ram-Sita-Ravan conflict point. There are many action shots and the Vanara Sena fight sequences are also established and they look appealing.
The trailer emphasises on the Yuddhakanda of Ramayan. In this segment, we see Ram as a warrior. So, in the trailer, Prabhas as Ram is seen in an aggressive manner. This is one of the tonal changes that has been made in the film because the Rama we know in films as a calm and serene personality . We have to see how the Telugu states audience receive that change.
Prabhas’s look as Lord Ram is different from the conventional one. But this is in accordance with the warrior king description of Ram. Prabhas’s vocal renditions will become a talking point.
Graphics wise, there are some enhancements here. This is the kind of film that deserves a big screen viewing. This will hold the USP for the film as it heads for theatrical release next month. There’s still some animated touch.
In the teaser, Ravan’s look drew backlash as people felt it has Islamic touch. The same has been modified in the trailer and good care has been taken. We do not know if it will be the same in the film as well.
The BGM and the Jai Shri Ram song enhance the whole vibe of the song and they work the trick along with the visuals. The action shots are also effective. This Ramayana is much bigger scale than the previous ones on Television and cinema with big stars, massive visuals, and grand canvas. So, that will be the biggest plus for Adipurush.
If Adipurush can strike a chord with the modern day Hindutva mood, then sky is limit for the Prabhas starrer across the nation.
