'Agadha’ Raises the Curtain on a Grand Global Release

M. S. Raju’s much-awaited supernatural drama ‘Agadha’ is set to hit screens worldwide on August 14, with the film gaining strong momentum in the trade following its trailer release.

The trailer has reportedly attracted the attention of distributors across various territories. Despite receiving multiple offers, director M. S. Raju has decided to opt for a self-release through Geetha Arts and Annapurna Studios, signaling the team’s belief in the movie’s theatrical potential.

The film’s release has been finalized across key markets. In the USA, Moksha Movies will distribute ‘Agadha’ . The distributor, which initially planned a 14-screen release, is said to have expanded the rollout to 140 screens after watching the film.

In the Telugu states, ‘Agadha’ will be released through the exhibition network of Geetha Arts and Annapurna Studios. V.K. Films, associated with Hombale Films, will distribute the film in Karnataka, while the Tamil Nadu rights have been entrusted to the reputed distribution house ‘S’ Pictures.

Promising a distinct cinematic experience, the trailer showcases ‘Agadha’ as a mystical supernatural drama with a divine backdrop. The film’s reverse-chronological screenplay, elaborate visual effects and atmospheric background score have added to the anticipation.

Starring Kamakshi Bhaskarla of ‘Polimera’ fame and Shravan Reddy of ‘Dirty Hari’ fame, the film is written and directed by M. S. Raju. Kasi Visalakshi Balusu is producing ‘Agadha’ under the Sri Adi Varaha Productions banner, with Ajay KR presenting the project.

With its distribution network firmly in place and promotions entering the final stage, ‘Agadha’ is heading for a wide theatrical release worldwide on August 14.
