Akhil Akkineni returned to the big screen after a gap of nearly 3 years with his latest film Lenin. This film is promoted as a rustic and raw action thriller and it arrived at the box office today July 10.
One of the earlier reactions for the film is that Akhil has delivered a strong and refined performance, which must be a fresh start from him at an acting level.
Akhil appears to have done something that is very close to his heart and reflected in the way he promoted the film aggressively and subsequently being observed in the case of reviews too in the form of the praise on his performance.
But the crucial challenge is going to be to find the right balance between the acting capabilities, and also the strong narrative. If either of these are not solid enough, then the ultimate product is not going to be consolidated.
So while Akhil has obviously improved one aspect, the next big thing here is going to be to find solid film narratives that will resurrect the entire film along with his performance as an actor.
Considering that Akhil is extremely interested in sports and has a good physic as well, it might be a safe option to try a solid sports drama now or later. When a subject that is so very close to his heart comes up, Akhil can also resonate the exact energy.
