Nagarjuna Screen Time in Coolie

Nagarjuna may not have any solo films lined up currently, but his calendar is far from empty.

The Akkineni icon is busy working on two massive multi-starrers — Kubera, directed by Sekhar Kammula, and Coolie, the much-hyped actioner starring superstar Rajinikanth and helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. Of the two, it’s Coolie that’s generating the most excitement.

A brief back shot of Nagarjuna in the Coolie teaser was enough to set social media on fire. Fans are thrilled to see him sharing the screen with Rajinikanth.

While the makers have kept the plot under wraps, reports suggest Nagarjuna has a significant role. He’s expected to appear for 45–50 minutes and is part of a stylized action sequence alongside Rajinikanth, according to sources on social media.

This could be a pivotal moment in Nagarjuna’s career. With no solo films on the horizon, Coolie might decide whether he continues in multistarrer films or makes a solo comeback.

Interestingly, he’s reportedly earning nearly three times his usual solo hero fee — a clear sign of the project’s scale and his importance in it.

Lokesh Kanagaraj is said to have designed powerful scenes for Nagarjuna — including a gripping warning scene and a massy fight sequence with Rajinikanth.

If Coolie lives up to expectations, this could mark a stylish and impactful second innings for the Akkineni star.

Let’s hope Nagarjuna’s role becomes a major highlight of the film and leaves a powerful impact on the audience like Suriya’s Rolex in Vikram— unlike Arjun or Sanjay Dutt’s roles in Leo, which had long screen time but zero impact.
