Akshardham Temple in Visakhapatnam!

Port City of Andhra Pradesh, Vishakapatnam will very soon boast of an Akshardham Temple which is famous in the country. The Bochasanwasi Shri Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS) and the Andhra Pradesh government are in talks to get a temple in Visakhapatnam on the lines of the ones in Gandhinagar and Delhi.

Akshardham Temples are known for their grandeur and marvelous architecture. Both the parties have agreed in principle to set up the temple on the outskirts of the Port City. This move is aimed at increasing the Temple tourism in the state to the next level.

The state government has already asked the Vizag district administration to identify land on the city outskirts for the project. The state government asked the Temple trust authorities to come up with a detailed report on the land required, approximate expenditure, the spiritual, humanitarian and cultural activities that would be set up as part of the complex
