On August 17, 2026, Allu Arjun appeared virtually before the court today in connection with the Sandhya Theatre stampede case. The court has now adjourned the matter to September 1, 2026.
The actor, who is Accused No. 11 in the case, joined the proceedings through video conference, while his legal team appeared before the court physically. The court had earlier permitted him to attend the proceedings virtually instead of making regular physical appearances.
Now, the interesting question is what happens on September 1. Will Allu Arjun once again appear virtually, or will the court direct him to appear physically?
The suspense continues. His mode of appearance for the next hearing will depend on the court’s directions.
The case relates to the December 2024 stampede at Sandhya Theatre during the premiere of Pushpa 2, in which a woman died, and her young son was seriously injured. The police chargesheet reportedly names 23 accused, including Allu Arjun.
