Allu Arjun-Prashanth Neel Film: Why It’s Not Possible?

Allu Arjun Prashanth Neel project delay

Allu Arjun’s upcoming film lineup has become one of the hottest talking points in Tollywood, with constant speculation around the directors he plans to team up with next. After wrapping up his ongoing project Raaka with Atlee, he is reportedly lining up what many are calling a “dream slate” with some of the most in-demand filmmakers in Indian cinema.

The two names driving the biggest buzz are Prashanth Neel and Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Both directors are known for their intense storytelling and high-impact commercial films, making these potential collaborations extremely exciting on paper.

However, the project with Prashanth Neel doesn’t look like it will happen anytime soon.

Prashanth Neel is currently tied up with a massive film titled Dragon starring Jr. NTR, which is expected to be made in two parts. Given his pattern of working and the scale he operates on, it’s likely he will complete both parts before moving on to anything new. It will take at least a year more to complete Dragon after that he plans to move to Salaar 2. That alone could push the Allu Arjun–Prashanth Neel film much further down the line.

At the same time, Allu Arjun himself isn’t exactly free. After the Atlee project, he is expected to immediately begin work on #AA23 with Lokesh Kanagaraj, another director known for mounting large-scale, high-intensity films. He is then teaming up with Malayalam director Basil Joseph for a quirky superhero film. He will then move to Vanga most probably.

Fans will have to wait for another 4-5 years for the Allu Arjun-Prashanth Neel film. But the hype isn’t going anywhere.
