Ever since Allu Arjun supported his friend a YSR Congress candidate in the recent elections, there has been a rupture between the actor and a big section of Mega fans.

No amount of success in film can compensate for political failures at least in Telugu states.

But this is not the single issue that created a wedge between Allu Arjun and this section of Mega fans. It only increased the intensity.
A section of Mega fans always see Allu Arjun as an Outsider. After all, he is not directly related to Chiranjeevi.
During the initial days of his career, Allu Arjun was another Mega hero and he enjoyed good support. But his rise slowly into the big league and his ambitious behavior did not go with that section.
The ‘Cheppanu Brother’ incident was also badly misunderstood or misinterpreted.
Back in those days, Pawan Kalyan fans would embarrass every Mega hero and the guests at their events shouting slogans of Pawan Kalyan. Vexed Allu Arjun refused to give up their pressure, and he instantly became a villain for Pawan Kalyan.
That section and the section that is routing for Ram Charan as the heir of Chiranjeevi in films came together after the Pan-India success of Pushpa and the subsequent National Award.
The growth of Allu Arjun stopped aligning with their opinion – “He is never a match to Pawan Kalyan and Ram Charan’.
At this juncture, Allu Arjun committed a mistake with the Nandhyala episode.
This issue will not die down any sooner. It will stretch up to the Pushpa 2 release. Will it cause damage to the film? – We do not know.
Mega fans are known for keeping their differences before the film release and coming together to shoulder the Mega legacy. Things look different this time.
If the movie gets the right talk, this section can easily become a minority due to its potential.
