It’s been clear for some time that Allu Arjun has been trying to carve out his own identity, stepping out of the “Mega” shadow. He has successfully done this on multiple occasions, and after Pushpa 2, he firmly established himself as one of India’s biggest stars. Today, he reinforced this once again.
He attended a fan meet and officially launched his own fan association, for his Allu Army.
For context, it’s well known that Chiranjeevi has maintained fan associations for decades, with a structured network from the state level all the way down, supporting not just his films but also those of Pawan Kalyan and Ram Charan.
Now, Allu Arjun has created a formal structure for his own fan base, giving them an organized identity. As expected, this has stirred some reactions among Mega fans, since Allu Arjun is increasingly seen as a direct competitor to Ramcharan.
