Director Anil Ravipudi has always had a desire to make a film based on mythological characters. However, the director has never attempted one so far. Now, Anil Ravipudi is set to fulfil his dream with an animated film.
As per the buzz, Anil Ravipudi is planning to make an animated film based on the Ramayana. The project is being produced by KVN Productions and will bring together some of the key episodes from the epic in an animated format.
What makes the project interesting is the way Ravipudi is approaching the animation process. Instead of limiting himself to writing the script, the director has reportedly performed each scene himself, recording the dialogues along with the expressions and emotions required for every character.
The animators are then using these recordings as references while designing the scenes and bringing the characters to life.
With the Ramayana as its backdrop and Ravipudi personally involved in every stage of the creative process, the project is shaping up to be something different from his usual films.
