Tillu Square is one of the more prospective films in the pipeline in Telugu cinema and a lot is expected from this film as it comes with the entertainment quotient and the naturally lucrative sequel advantage.
However, more relevantly in the case of the film, there has been an untoward development. The female lead, Anupama Parameswaran is hurt by the media glare and attention on her bold presence in the promotional material to an extent that she has skipped the pre-release event and even the latest media interviews.
When asked about the same, the main man Siddhu Jonnalagadda has given an explanation.
“We actors are usually thick skinned about the social media trolls and media glare. But women are more reactive and sensitive on this matter. In the case of Anupama, the YouTube comments and media questions about her characterization in the film, based on the two trailers that we released thus far has negatively impacted her.”
The primary argument here is that certain YouTube channels carried provocative thumbnails of Anupama answering the questions about her doing a glamorous role in the film and this hurt the actress, which is understandable on her part.
