Andhra Pradesh Government has accorded partial permission to Krishnapatnam Anandaiah’s medicine for COVID-19. Basing on the report of the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS), it has allowed all the medicines except for the herbal eye drops. The reports of the eye drops will arrive in 2-3 weeks.
Until then, eye drops are not allowed. The state government has decided to allow the rest of the medicines called P, L, and F. Another medicine called ‘K’ is not allowed as Anandaiah did not demonstrate it before the experts. The reports also said that there is no conclusion that these medicines can cure COVID-19.
But they are allowed since they are safe. The Government also asked people not to discontinue English medicine while taking Anandaiah herbal treatment. The government also directed the officials to make sure the COVID-19 safety rules are implemented at the place where the medicines are given.
Also, the Government asked COVID-infected patients not to go directly to get the medicine.
