It’s already a known news that Balakrishna rejected director SV Krishna Reddy’s offer to do his 101st movie. It is said that the Nandamuri hero actually liked the story but rejected the offer because of Kamal Haasan and Suriya.

Krishna Reddy actually went to Kamal Haasan first to narrate the story, but Kamal Haasan rejected it immediately. Then, the director approached Suriya who also didn’t accept the offer as he thought that the subject wouldn’t suit him.
Balakrishna is said to be the fifth actor to who Krishna Reddy went to narrate his story. After coming to know of the rejections, Balayya too turned down Krishna Reddy’s story. With one less than half a dozen rejections, it would be interesting to see who would take up the project finally.
