The original uncut version of Obsession is scheduled to premiere on JioHotstar on October 30. The announcement has attracted interest among viewers who want to revisit the film and watch the version being presented as its original, unaltered edition.
The streaming release will give existing fans another opportunity to experience the story. It may also attract first-time viewers who are curious about the film and the differences between its earlier release and the upcoming uncut version.
However, the announcement does not clarify what the original uncut version will include. There is no confirmed information about additional scenes, previously removed footage or other changes that might distinguish this edition from the version already available.
The description of the film as an original uncut version is likely to generate discussion among viewers. Some may expect previously unseen material, while others may simply be interested in watching the film in the form originally intended.
With the October 30 premiere approaching, attention will turn to whether the streaming release offers any substantial differences. For now, the extent of the changes remains unclear, and further details from the makers or JioHotstar are awaited.
