Director Gopichand Malineni organized a special Maha Homam and Yagam at the Kateeramma Temple in Kambalipura, Hoskote, near Bengaluru, praying for the speedy recovery and health of actor-politician Nandamuri Balakrishna.
The religious ceremony commenced at 8:00 AM with 18 Vedic priests officiating the rituals to wish the veteran star a full and quick recovery.
The special prayers follow a recent left knee injury sustained by Balakrishna during an action sequence shoot in Rajahmundry for his upcoming film #NBK111, directed by Gopichand Malineni.
He subsequently underwent a successful corrective surgery for a torn quadriceps tendon at AIG Hospitals in Hyderabad.
With the operation completed smoothly, the actor remains stable under medical supervision, prompting the film team and fans to organize prayers for his early return to the sets.
