Entire shoot of Janatha Garage will be wrapped up in a couple of days and the film would be ready to go to Censor in coming week. All this leads up to the release of the film on September 2, provided everything goes as planned.

But is there a small hindrance in this plan somewhere? If one observes the political news it would be clear before us. The problem is likely to arise on release date, September 2nd, when all trade unions are likely to go on a National wide strike.
They had held a similar strike on the same day last year as well. However, the government’s response has not been satisfactory with respect to their demands and that has lead to the strengthening of voice for another strike this year. If the strike happens as planned Janatha Garage will most likely go for an alternative date to release. Stay tuned for further update.
