The theatrical trailer for megastar Chiranjeevi’s Bholaa Shankar was unveiled a little while earlier. It appears to be a an attempted commercial package.
The trailer starts with the introduction of a kidnap and mafia’s involvement with it. Chiru is established as the designated saviour.
There are action blocks, elevation dialogues, and comedy settings which imply that the film is an amalgamation of these commercial ingredients.
But we get an impression that the film is a formulaic commercial potboiler. It caters to mega fans and could show Chiru in a commercial avatar that they like.
Meher Ramesh is trying his hand at action comedy this time around and it has to be seen what he has in store for the viewers with this film.
Bholaa Shankar is up for release on the 11th of August and it is Churi’s second consecutive commercial potboiler after Waltair Veerayya.
The film has Tamannaah, Keerthy Suresh, and others in the lead roles. It is a remake of Vedhalam.
