Many celebrated stars have joined the OTT bandwagon in the post-Covid era because there’s no box office pressure and also the money is good.
Some of the biggest names are Ajay Devgn, Shahid Kapoor, Sidharth Malhotra, Kajol, Vidya Balan, Alia Bhatt, Sanjay Dutt, Emraan Hashmi, and many others.
However, one family stands out for their collective transition into OTT stardom—the Royal Nawabi Pataudi family.
Saif Ali Khan initiated this shift with his roles in Sacred Games and the Hotstar film Bhoot Police. Presently, he’s engaged in another OTT venture, Jewel Thief.
Joining him, Kareena Kapoor, his wife, made her OTT debut with Jaanejaan on Netflix and is actively pursuing further projects in the OTT space.
Their daughter, Sara Ali Khan, has already made her mark in multiple OTT films like Atrangi Re and Gaslight, with more in the pipeline such as Murder Mubarak and Karan Johar’s Ae Watan Mere Watan.
Even Saif’s son, Ibrahim Ali Khan, is poised to debut as a lead in the OTT realm alongside Khushi Kapoor in the project titled Naadaniyaan.
Saif’s brother-in-law, Kunal Kemmu, has also made significant contributions to the OTT landscape with films and web series like Lootcase and Pop Kaun.
Completing the family roster, Soha Ali Khan, Saif’s sister, has her share of OTT projects, including Hush Hush for Prime Video.
It seems the whole Pataudi family has lost hope in theatrical films and has turned their attention completely towards OTT.
