The first weekend episode of Bigg Boss Telugu season 7 featured host Nagarjuna reviewing the contestants’ performance. The episode, however, lacked significant highlights and drama.
In the inaugural week, the 14 contestants put forth their best efforts, but only a few managed to capture attention and screen time. In an interesting twist, Bigg Boss had both the audience and contestants rate the contestants’ performances across various parameters. Surprisingly, the self-analysis of the housemates aligned with the audience ratings for only a few contestants.
Nagarjuna didn’t delve into many pressing issues within the house during the episode. For instance, he could have addressed Rathika’s actions, which seemed to give Pallavi Prashanth false hope, but he chose not to. Similarly, he didn’t explore the dynamics of the relationship between Gautham Krishna and Subhashree.
Nagarjuna’s discussion of the “impressing task” was somewhat vague, leaving viewers with questions. Some viewers also perceived a bias in Nagarjuna’s praise for Rathika.
Additionally, Nagarjuna conducted the final task, “Power Asthra,” in which Sandeep emerged as the winner, making him the first confirmed housemate of the seventh season.
