A weekend episode of ‘Bigg Boss’ is always a crucial one, as it often involves the elimination of a contestant. This week was no exception, and the unexpected elimination of Rathika left everyone surprised. Rathika, the contestant who was once considered a strong contender for the title, couldn’t hold back her tears as she bid farewell.
In the previous episode on Saturday, a unanimous decision was reached that Sivaji was not fit to remain in the house. Consequently, Bigg Boss stripped him of his Power Astra, bringing that episode to a close.
The following episode on Sunday commenced with Shivaji seeking an explanation from the host, Nagarjuna, regarding the reasons for his disqualification. The housemates, including Shobha Shetty, Gautham, Priyanka, among others, provided their individual reasons for nominating Shivaji.
Bigg Boss intended to project Shivaji’s shortcomings in a sequential manner. Nagarjuna has given ample space and time for Sivaji to elevate him in the current episode. All those who voted for Sivaji that he is an undeserving contestant failed to put forward proper reasons that proves that he is partial and biased. Thus, Sivaji is elevated well although he was grilled in the previous episode.
On the other hand, Rathika’s eviction came as a shock to everyone. While she brought glamour and entertainment to the show, some viewers were put off by her involvement with Prashanth. Furthermore, her tendency to exacerbate conflicts and prolong them worked against her.
