War 2, Coolie, Raja Saab, Kantara Chapter 1

As 2025 rolls up to be a good year for the Indian film industry so far with decent releases over the months, the upcoming releases might make this year even more special.

Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR will lock horns against each other in War 2 and given the hype for the sequel, it might make its way to the 1000-crore club.

With a massive fan following in the North side, Hrithik Roshan might attract a lot of eyes to the big screens this Independence Day.

Jr NTR will be enough for the people of South to buy a ticket for War 2 and on top of that, the YRF Spy Universe has been decent so far with several hits under the franchise, so War 2 might be one of the greatest releases of this year ahead.

However, the task wouldn’t be easier for Hrithik and Co. as Rajinikanth pairs up with Lokesh Kanagaraj in Coolie which is also set to release this Independence Day.

Being known for his intense filmmaking, fans are expecting huge things from Lokesh Kanagaraj in Coolie and are predicting it to earn over 1000 crores at the box office.

Apart from these, another highly anticipated film that might strike gold in 2025 is Prabhas’ The Raja Saab.

Prabhas has been delivering underwhelmingly so far despite having decent collections at the box office.

With The Raja Saab, this might change as fans have been buzzing around since his look for the film was released and only time will tell if the lives up to the hype this time.

The much-awaited prequel of Kantara is also scheduled to release on 2nd October and the hype for the film is massive.

The Rishab Shetty starrer is expected to bolster the box office after the success of the first installment and might cross the 1000 crore mark at the box office.




With these four films lined up for a huge release ahead, expectations are that each of them will perform splendidly at the box office hence making 2025 a golden year for Indian cinema.
