Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is back in the action genre again after Pathan. His latest outing, Jawan hit the theaters today.
As per the latest box office reports, Jawan is likely to get off to a record breaking start at the box office. It will open on a much bigger note than Pathan which is the biggest opener in India thus far.
As per reports, Jawan could be opening on a stellar note as it could be collecting in the range of R 65 crore nett in India on its opening day.
It is understood that the film has opened on a monstrous note, thanks to the Janmashtami holiday and it is wreaking havoc in the Hindi belt. The film has also registered a surprisingly good opening in the South Indian belt as well.
The Tamil and Telugu openings are pretty good, which contributes significantly to the tally. All factors combined, Jawan could be collecting over Rs 65 crores on its first day, if not more, making it the biggest-ever opener in Indian cinema.
SRK doing the action genre has evidently struck a chord with the Hindi audience and the blockbuster opening of Pathaan, and the even better opening of Jawan clearly implies the same.
