But, all that is going to be past as a regulation was passed on accessing torrent sites. If you access a torrent site, you might have to pay Rs.3 lakhs fine and also spend three years in jail. We can now see a warning note flashing on the blocked warrant sites.
Department of Telecommunications had issued orders against accessing such torrent sites and hence these blocked sites are displaying the warning. It is considered a criminal offence under India’s laws and hence punishment is also decided. Next time you want to access a torrent site, think once before even trying.
