Actress Krishi Thapanda was not at home when the incident took place. Reports suggest she was in Yelahanka at the time. Police investigation has revealed that Vaishakh had been staying at her residence for nearly a week before the incident.

No suicide note was recovered from the spot, and the body has been shifted to Victoria Hospital for postmortem. Further investigation is underway.

According to officials, Vaishakh was undergoing treatment for depression due to personal and family issues. Sources claim he had been living separately from his wife for the past month following marital disputes, which allegedly affected his mental health.

The case has also brought attention to Vaishakh’s legal troubles.

Earlier this year, he was named as an accused in a high-profile extortion case involving businessman and advocate Aravind Reddy. Police had arrested him in February over allegations of sending a threatening letter demanding ₹6–7 crore. However, the Karnataka High Court later stayed the investigation, following which he was released.

Police are now examining whether his personal problems, legal issues, or any other factors contributed to his death.

Meanwhile, Vaishakh’s family is reportedly preparing to file a complaint, and Rajarajeshwari Nagar police have registered a case.

As of now, there is no indication that actress Krishi Thapanda is accused of any wrongdoing. Her residence is the location where the death occurred, and investigators are working to establish the exact circumstances surrounding Vaishakh’s death.
