There is some fresh buzz around Chiranjeevi and Bobby Kolli’s Kaaka. According to industry gossip, the film may not arrive during the Sankranthi 2027 season as originally announced and could be pushed to the summer.
Kaaka was officially announced with a January 13, 2027 release date. The title glimpse introduced Chiranjeevi as K Satyam, an aqua-industry supervisor, while also showing another, younger and more mass-oriented side of his character.
Now, there are reports doing the rounds that the makers are considering moving the film out of the Sankranthi race. If that happens, Kaaka could reportedly target a summer release instead.
However, there is no official confirmation from Chiranjeevi, Bobby Kolli or KVN Productions about any postponement at the moment.
The Sankranthi window is already expected to be crowded, and a change in Kaaka’s release could completely alter the 2027 festive-season equation. On the other hand, moving to summer would give the film a different release window and potentially more space at the box office.
