Tollywood is gearing up for a promising weekend as there are two new theatrical debutants – Tillu Square and Goat Life. Interestingly, these two films belong to completely different and contrasting genres.
Coming to Tillu Square, it is a mad comedy that is riding on sequel hype and the crazy characterization of the main man Siddhu Jonnalagadda. The film is billed to be a slick comedy caper with Tillu-mark entertainment.
Then there is Goat Life of Prithviraj Sukumaran which appears to be an experimental film with an intense making value. The film was extensively shot for an extremely prolonged period of time.
Tillu is a proven comedy franchise and the sequel will come with a natural advantage of having a winning comedy premise. If the word of mouth is good, then the film packs excellent box office prospects.
Goat Life has a great novelty factor in its favor but it caters to a section of the audience exclusively. The Telugu prospects look limited but the film is on a rampage with the advance bookings in Malayalam.
There are good options for the audience this weekend and we have to see how well they will fare at the box office.
