Director SS Rajamouli is known for taking a considerable amount of time before beginning shooting for his films. He dedicates an extensive period to pre-production and pre-visualization, ensuring utmost clarity before moving to the sets.
It has been almost two years since the release of RRR, and he is yet to commence shooting for his next film with Mahesh Babu. Currently in Japan, he attended a special show where RRR is still running in select theaters, marking its 513th day since the Japan theatrical release.
During the event, he briefly discussed his upcoming movie with Mahesh Babu.
Rajamouli mentioned, “We have completed the writing, and we are in the pre-production process. Only the hero is confirmed, and his name is Mahesh Babu. He is very handsome. Hopefully, we will expedite the film’s production, and during its release, I will bring him here.”
He also said that, other than the protagonist Mahesh Babu, the rest of the casting has not been finalized.
Watching the videos of the show in Japan, it’s evident that Rajamouli is truly blessed to receive such love from other countries.
