War 2 is possibly one of the most anticipated films of the year, and also one of the biggest. It stars two major actors from two different industries- Hrithik Roshan and NTR Jr., and fans are highly excited for it.

However, the makers don’t seem very keen on giving fans something to look forward to—no teaser, no poster, no insider gossip—nothing.

War 2 is set to release on 14th August, but it’s not the only film aiming for that date. Rajinikanth’s highly anticipated film Coolie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, is also scheduled to hit theatres on the same day.

While both films are releasing on the same day, the contrast in their marketing strategies is stark.

To mark the 100-day countdown to Coolie, the makers released a high-voltage glimpse of the film and its co-stars last week.

Even with just a short teaser, Lokesh has managed to trigger massive excitement. The slick camera work, sharp editing, and thunderous background score have skyrocketed audience anticipation. This glimpse alone suggests Coolie is going to be a big-screen spectacle.

In contrast, the makers of War 2 haven’t released anything to build hype around the film.

In today’s time, marketing is just as important as making the film. It helps create excitement, keeps the audience engaged, and gives them something to look forward to.

War 2 and Coolie are inevitably heading toward a box office clash. With proper marketing, one of them could gain a slight advantage over the other.

Are the makers of War 2 so confident about their film that they believe it will attract audiences without much promotion? Or will Coolie gain the upper hand with its early marketing push?
