The Indian Box office is set to be a battlefield this August, with two heavyweights colliding for dominance as Coolie and War 2 are scheduled to go head-to-head on August 14th.

Both films are massy and action-based based having a stellar cast, but comparing both the films on the basis of promos and teasers provided so far, we might get a clear winner at this point.

War 2’s teaser garnered huge viewership all around social media but got mixed reactions from the viewers. Many trolled the film’s VFX, whereas many were disappointed with the way of showcasing Jr NTR was showcased in the teaser.

Fans thought he could have been shown as a more elite co-lead alongside Hrithik Roshan, but fans are looking forward to seeing the film’s trailer and songs.

On the other hand, Coolie has been generating a lot of buzz over social media. The first look announcement video did an amazing job of giving fans a catchy background tune, which elevated their expectations from the film.

The star-studded cast adds more value to the film, and the way Lokesh Kanagaraj aims to represent them is something that everyone is looking forward to.

So till now, Coolie is preparing up to be a huge release but everything depends on the upcoming promotional campaigning and same goes for Hrithik Roshan’s War 2.

As the clash is expected to be huge, many also think it is overhyped, as both films aim for different markets and will likely have considerable collections in their respective markets without a significant clash.

While Coolie remains a huge project, the film will aim to target Tamil Nadu and overseas and is expected to have huge collections from these markets. On the other hand, War 2 will be targeting the Hindi audience along with some Telugu states where Coolie might not create much impact.

Still, there might be some competition in locations like Karnataka and Kerala, where both films will aim to excel.

As fans are expecting Coolie to reach the 1000 crore mark, War 2 makers would also expect the same for War 2 after the Spy Universe fumbled with Salman Khan’s Tiger 3.

As the clash continues to build up and has immaculate hype on social media, it is too early to predict who will be the winner of this clash, but one thing is for sure that fans would be treated to a spectacle come August 14th on the big screens.
